Funerals & Repast Guidelines

Mount Hebron members are encouraged to have their funeral and repast at the Mount.

Funeral Guidelines for Members

  • The family should contact their shepherd to notify the church of the passing.
  • If the shepherd is not known, the church office should be notified.
  • Parting views are held at the beginning of the service, and the casket will not be reopened at the conclusion of the service.
  • Members are not charged for AV nor Custodial staff time.

Repast Guidelines for Members

  • We strongly encourage families to hold the repast immediately following the funeral service, then proceed to the internment.
  • Repasts occurring Monday-Friday will be held in the Cave.
  • Repasts occurring on a Saturday will be held at 901 Dairy Road.
  • There is a 60-person limit for repasts.
  • Repasts will last no more than 90 minutes.
  • There are no repast costs for members.

  • Non-members are welcome to use the Mount for funerals.
  • The family should contact the church office to make arrangements.
  • Non-members are charged for AV and Custodial staff time.
