			ELLA SHAW'S GRADUATION - MAY 10th Ms. Ella Shaw will receive her Masters degree in Business Administration from the DeVos School of Management, Northwood University and invites members of The Mount to her commencement exercises on Thursday, May 10th at 2:00 pm at the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex; 9191 S. 			VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! Genesis of Praise and True Praise Ministries are seeking volunteers to come out and work with the children and youth ministries. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: Parent Leaders and Bible Study Leaders. If you are interested in working with either of these ministries, please come out on Thursday from 7:30pm - 8:30pm for training and assignments.

			The Men of The Mount leads worship service at Union Gospel Mission - Dallas The Men of The Mount led the worship service at the Union Gospel Mission on Sunday, May 6. Twenty men from Mt. Hebron attended and approximately 15 men of the mission either accepted Christ, came for prayer, and/or rededicated their lives. Rev. Cory Malcolm preached a great message and Norman Williams led us in praise and worship.

			CLEANING FOR A REASON If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. 			HELP US REPLENISH "GOD'S CLOSET" God's Closet ministry is asking each member of The Mount to bring 2 canned goods each Sunday during the months of April and May to assist in replenishing their closet. 			Eye Glasses, Bicycles, Medical Supplies and More Needed Our Zambia Missions Team is attempting to ship a 20 foot container filled with supplies that are needed in Africa. Please consider making a donation of the following items: bicycles, eyeglasses (prescription or reading), back-to-school supplies, sewing machines, men's tools, unopened over the counter drugs (Tylenol, Asprin, baby Tylenol, etc.), unopened Prescription drugs (no outdated drugs), sports equipment, Toiletry Items, Women's wigs, new clothing items (men, women, youth, infant), new shoes, and medical equipment. 			Habitat for Humanity Garland Project - June Apostle Build Habitat for Humannity is planning to build two homes in the Garland community in June of 2012. The project begins June 18th and will last until December. You may volunteer for the project one or several day(s) for as many hours as you perfer Monday - Saturday; 9 am - 6pm. Note: Some employers may give their employees a volunteer day that they either use or lose for the year. Please contact Rev. 			Voter Registration Cards Attention all voters: All voter registration cards in Texas have expired because of redistricting. New cards will be mailed the week of April 24, 2012. Call Dallas County Elections at (214) 819-6389 if you do not get your voters card, are unsure where to go vote, or if you have not voted since the last Presidential election. Also as a reminder, you must have your Voter Card or a valid Photo ID to vote. If you don't have a Photo ID, call the Texas Department of Public Safety (214) 861-2125
